The creator of Ayin Tova Cartoons is a caring observer (and participant) of Jewish life and culture, and since March 2024, has partnered with experienced social and political artists to periodically produce these cartoons. With a touch of humor, irony or pathos, Ayin Tova Cartoons reflect a visual manifestation of perspectives and opinions (or aspirational hopes for the future) intended as snapshots of the contemporary Jewish (and Israeli) condition — with biting commentary, and even self-criticism — for the greater good. The intention of Ayin Tova Cartoons is to present a visually pointed observation (not judgement), replacing the need to write out a 1,000 word editorial column.

Ultimately, Ayin Tova Cartoons are intended for reflection, and perhaps even for motivating change and reprioritizing values. Thus, the authorial credited name in Hebrew, ayin tova, can be translated as a good eye, or “good insight.”
